David Lee, Founder and CEO
As the company's visionary, President and CEO David Lee is in charge of defining our corporate strategy and leading the WorkPro team to effect positive, tangible impact for every customer we serve. David's firm belief in leveraging technology and optimizing processes is manifested in all his endeavors.
David is a pioneer in the health-related evaluation space. He is the Founder, President, and CEO of C.A.R.E. Evaluators, one of the largest Paratransit Eligibility Evaluation companies in the nation. He introduced a custom software to streamline the evaluation process and to promote a paper-less environment. CARE has operations in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Mateo, Santa Rosa, Sonoma County, and Arizona.
David gained valuable insight and industry knowledge performing numerous ergonomic evaluations for clients such as the City of Long Beach, City of Indian Wells, Parker Hannifin, and Washington Mutual.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University School of Allied Health.
Samson Kung, Founder and Chief Information Officer
As Founder and CIO, Sam oversees WorkPro's strategic technical direction, and manages the implementation of integrated technologies to optimize information flow and user experience. Sam was an original architect of the WorkPro platform and was instrumental in refining the product using his experience building custom, large-scale database applications.
Sam is also the Founder and Managing Director of Illuminous Enterprises, an Information Technology consulting company specializing in systems integration and application development. While there, he played critical roles in growing the practice and managed numerous successful engagements with key clients such as Hewlett Packard, Nestle USA, Kaiser Permanente, and the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office.
Prior to that, he consulted for Price Waterhouse and Cambridge Technology Partners building complex systems for clients in aerospace, finance, health care, high tech, and government.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Tarak Patel, Founder and Vice President of Engineering
As Founder and Vice President of Engineering, Tarak is in charge of all aspects of WorkPro's product development. Tarak was an original architect of the WorkPro platform as well as the underlying framework which makes the system flexible and unique.
Tarak brings over 15 years of enterprise software development experience. He has held various engineering leadership positions from startup organizations such as RiverOne and Evantix to publicly traded companies such as i2 Technologies and WebMD.
He also founded a software development consulting firm called BhulaCorp, Inc. where he designed and architected a web application framework that has been used in the successful implementation of numerous large scale applications.
Tarak holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the Califonia State University at Fullerton.
Jennifer Kirkpatrick, Contract Services Manager
As Contract Services Manager, it is Jennifer's job to make sure that each contract clearly addresses the customer’s specific needs and that the WorkPro Team delivers on all aspects of the proposed solution.
Jennifer brings with her more than 15 years of experience in Human Resources. She has a Workers’ Compensation certificate, and understands the risks employees bring to business operations.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from the University of Redlands.
Patrick Wei, Information Technology Manager
As WorkPro's Information Technology Manager, Patrick is dedicated to ensuring that customers are able to access the system and use its valuable information management and reporting features.
Patrick is a computer and technology expert. He has experience managing front and back offices, and has provided practical input in shaping WorkPro's user experience.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Science with a Minor in Computer Science from the University of California, Irvine.
Casandra Eastwood, Client Services Manager
Casandra is our Client Services Manager who is responsible for providing an excellent experience in every interaction we have with our customers, from sales to post-implementation support.
She has designed, implemented, and managed initiatives in marketing, sales, and fulfillment. Her background also includes office and customer relationship management.
Casandra holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the Califonia State University at Fullerton.
